@RSMurderer : Sadly I am waiting on engine support, so it will be once those guys get some time to implement what I have asked for. Then once that has been complete I can crack on with the work I need to do. So sadly I can't give a time frame as the engine guys are always busy.
That's a good suggestion but it would be a totally different developer who could work on it.
If you have twitter try tweeting @JagexAsh, He's usually very good with replying
Alright, thanks for the reply Asherz! And yeah, on what Mexk said, I would be interested in making a few 07 Skits if there was something similar, I think I made a thread on an 07 orb back in vidclub.

1) What do you like about the Orb of Oculus?
It gives you the ability (all be it limited) to get angles and running shots you couldn't normally get without some very clever video editing, at least thr orb allows you to cut down on the heavy edits a bit.
2) What do you not like about the Orb of Oculus?
The controls are awkward to say the least, also whenever you get near the ground or in some case even building or trees or open water (entrana) you get some insane clipping and back and forth teleports. Those really kill whatever you're trying to shoot.
3) Are there any modes you don't use?
I only use the mode which is mouse=directional view, arrows?=camera pan up//down/left/right. Pgup/Pgdwn= forwards + backwards.
4) Are there any modes you think you would like added?
The ability to plugin a controller would make it immensely easier. Alternatively or additionally, allow us to personally map our own keys to do whichever actions we wish. Since RS3 is all about the ability to personalize
I believe someone mentioned already, remove the orb from our hands so we don't need body doubles whilst recording 2nded <3
If possible, allow us to save a number of 'set camera points' so we could, for example: Switch to 'camera 1' then to 'camera 2' then 'free roam' for instant different perspectives. (such as a conversation between two people or an action scene)
add an 'acceleration' to allow the camera speed to increase whilst a button is held down and return to normal once released. So we keep the slow soft movement for delicate movements and can switch to fast mode for chase scenes etc.
Example: The camera follows Player1 as he walks through the mountain, it follows him up whilst he climbs a ladder. Then suddenly rushes ahead to focus on an enemy/building in the horizon. (it can be combined with 'camera sets' very nicely)
uhh, that's it off the top of my head.
Although alot of these can simply use video editing to 'cure' just those simple additions would save time^^
The only thing I'd really have to add to what others have been saying is the ability to hide overheads when we're in the orb. That way actors can go into combat without us seeing HP and adrenaline bars. Even the option to hide curses just to see the emotes that come with them would be nice.
