No Miner's Journal Drops?

Been killing ripper demons for ages. I originally started at around 881 kc and only had the first journal. After getting past the threshold of 1k, I got nothing. Looking around I found out I had to read the books, so I went back and read the book and started again at around 1,046 kc.

I'm currently at 1,373 kc and still nothing. I've even had the lorehound familiar out this entire time with the upgrade. I'm seriously convinced that it's bugged or something.

Unless there is something I am missing.

After looking around for possible issues... I decided to check my bank and, sure enough, there was Journal #2. It would seem I never read it because it never appeared in my bookcase at my POH.

Note to anyone with the same issue. Try checking your bank along with bookcase...
