Been training Runecrafting on my main in Runespan, and had a strange thought.
We siphon the esslings, esshounds, and esswraiths for their runic energy.
Then they die.

But when we siphon them, do they really "feel" what is happening to them?

We have hunter and fishing, and I guess I don't know if they feel.
We have Slayer, at least those creatures fight back. Not that it guarantees them any sort of chance, but still ...

Then we have the esscritters. Some cute. Some not so.
But then I think ... as I look down ... off the edge of the islands ... that's a long ways down ... or is it up? What if the esscreatures decided ... we weren't exactly welcome anymore? Those few adventurers and wizards would not have much of a chance would they?
And it is surprising how far you might be able to go into the nothingness of nowhere.

Well that's nothingness and nowhere where i have come back from, so good day to you sir! Have we fragments of blasted past that may be, but hey this is some cat on a crude table innit? Yes!

So how come tis left to drop down or up like the aforementioned islands is beyond me huhhu. Surely this is a habit to state some people are cruel, must not even notice it themselves and if they do, their miserable subconsiousness hides it with the rest of selfshames i'm sure of.

Shed of light this one certainly needs, so i woosh it up!
