Introducing elite skill Necromancy!
Reqs: complete SE, level 80 in summoning and magic

All that sliske was, he was quite an exceptional necromancer and it may be possible for us to tap that knowledge now as well. Slay a rune dragon and revive it in time to help you battle the next.
I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

At least we can safely say the 3 Elder god quests will require Sliske's endgame. Which is a positive.

There's no explaining away how Sliske managed to make it into our head without stabbing him with the Siphon if he's going to be used in the plot again.

I like the idea of him trying to influence our dialogue to mess with the survival of the universe, or failing that, perhaps, Zaros actually manages to create life at the end, but that life is taken over by Sliske.

A lot of possibilities. But none I can see after the elder god threat is sorted out.

You think we're going to wake up Bik, Wen and Ful all in one quest?

Bik is next year, Wen and Ful perhaps the two years after with Dragonkin goodness inbetween hopefully.

One Grandmaster quest each should do it. Then likely a 4th to top it all off. .

If Sliske attempts to try and control us, couldn't we just start threatening to go on suicidal adventures?
What Sliske doesn't realise is that if we die, he dies too.

Icthlarin seems to have noticed something was up anyway, so if we die, death can take our soul away safely and revive us, Sliske's will just fade like ordinary mahjarrat, or suffer a fate of our choosing.
Or at least, I hope that's how it works.

I would very much enjoy this system, with one or two side-quests thrown in (similar to HoS).

Well, If that were the case, TWW would be a req for Divination and Invention.

I'm stuck in your head and I'm laughing! Ha!
I filled you with dread and I can't stop laughing.
Guthix is dead and I can't stop laughing.
What else can I do?
Now I'm part of you.

Nomad's dead and I'm laughing
Bandos's just a head and I can't stop laughing.
I'm even dead and I can't stop laughing
What else can I do?
Now I'm part of you.

I drove you round the bend and I'm laughing.
I'm with you to the end and I can't stop laughing.
I'll kill all your friends and I can't stop laughing.
I'm cock-a-doodle-do
All because of you
But look who's laughing now.
More caffeine now than man. Twisted and evil.

Well, the epilogue of the Endgame suggests that Sliske can just override our choices and do whatever he wants and we won't be able to do much about it. There's both a case of subtly pushing our thoughts towards telling a 'small lie' to Icthlarin and a case of full blown blacking us out and...doing something that we can't remember but whatever it was it made his fangirl happy. So I'm guessing any suicidal tendencies are going to be kept in check that way....

Also, there's a chance nobody will be able to separate Sliske's influence from our soul just because we died (yet) anyway. Otherwise Jagex would have a lot of explaining to do when someone inevitably asks why going and giving some Ripper Demons or something dangerous a hug wasn't enough to fix it when we died between quests. O_o

In all fairness, if they were going to lock Necromancy as a skill or whatever behind a quest, the line involving this stuff would be a pretty good candidate. Either that or they finally put that necromancer and his elemental guys near Armadyl's tower to use for once, but I'm not holding out hope for them by this point :(

And those guys south of East Ardougne.

It'd be pretty neat to connect all those dots we see with Necromancy in game. From Dragith Nurn to that dude in the wizard's guild to Rashilyia to the Mahjarrat.

Crafting obsidian prisms and maybe binding the Barrows brothers to us would make things quite interesting...

The real question with Necromancy is what use would it provide the player that wouldn't break combat? We've already got summoning after-all.
