Wasn't Sliske doing something to the shadow realm that made it very hard to see/get into during DAT? Because I remember at least Khazard mentioning something about that. So I can see Sliske taking what he's learned and using it on Freneskae too.

Possible, but wouldn't Zaros not have mentioned it, or atleast noticed? HE IS the master of the shadow realm, unless, Sliske finally topped him.

Thinking of what Khazard said and the eclips coming up, something (bad, very bad) is bound to happen. And i believe Sliske will take the beating this time.

Side note; I guess even our gift from sliske doesn't help see him, when he messing around with the shadow realm during dat.

If Sliske was present in the shadow realm during CoM then Zaros almost certainly would've noticed. But then, he'd also have zero reason to mention that fact. Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Zaros could just be unaware of Sliske's experiments with the whole thing and doesn't really know what to look for. The guy might be a master of the shadow realm, but even masters can be outwitted from time to time if they're out of practice. And I'd like to think him not having a body for so long would've been enough time to get a little rusty in that regard.

Or Sliske could've just been hiding out of view in the shadow realm while still being in a position to see everything. It's not like Zaros is omnipresent and able to see every little detail there just because he happened to master the realm.

No surprise there. One of the major rules of manipulating people is to make sure anything you give someone can't be used effectively against you in the first place. Did anyone really think there wasn't a string or two attached to his gift?

Speaking about it and come to think of it, what if Sliske intends to make a clone of the World guardian? He did made a shadow version of the player in Dat, perhaps not very good looking one, but a copy nothing less. Nomad would be the body he need also because he's powerful. A few changes to it and poof you got a look a like Wg.

Of course i'm just throwing in some crazy theories and speculations around.

Zaros and Seren may just be able to tell if Sliske turned into a stone. Seren might actually be able to nullify Shadow Realm powers with just her presence alone.
