Earlier today, I was killing imps, trying to hunt down their champion scroll when a thought crossed my mind. As I'm sure most of you know, imps are demons, who are canonically shown to be sentient and able to converse with humans on their level; yet, we treat the imps essentially like cattle, skinning them and using their hides to make robes. The same thing is also applicable to dragons; while highly aggressive, they are still intelligent beings, yet we make armor from their hides.
Now, of course, one could argue that this is okay because imp and dragons are "evil" or "dangerous." And that much is true; however, there are plenty of evil and dangerous humans, gnomes, and other such races across Gielinor, yet I'm fairly certain no one would condone using their hides for armor.
So, with that, I leave you with one question: is it really ethically justifiable to skin a sentient creature and wear it?
