Today not only was Zamorak brought to heel like the good boy he is, but we also got quite a few lore bombshells. One of the biggest ones being that that Mah's corruption seems to have been caused by Wen.

Wen is probably one of the biggest enigmas of the elder gods there's quite a few things different from her.

1)She did not take part in forming Gielinor.

2)It is assumed that Wen is the weakest of the fully formed elder gods.

3)Wen's stone head and her Locator memory are in two different places. This has been previously described by Mod Raven as intentional.

Now the rest is all speculation as right now there's very little linking all of the above to anything. I can think of a few things we can expect to see.

1)Wen could be Sliske's master and has gone rogue among the elder gods for some reason or another.

2)At runefest it was described that Mah had a sickness last revision that lead to this, could Wen have contracted this first which caused her to intentionally and unintentionally spreading it to Mah.

3)Could Wen be vying for power among the elder gods, unwittingly dooming the rest.

4)Maybe Jas, Ful, and Bik caught on to what Wen was doing and exiled her, then once they were asleep Wen made her way to Gielinor and slept.

I think Bik is the weakest, as it goes Jas > Ful > Wen > Bik. Though I think sometimes they're also oddly inconsistent when it comes to Wen and Bik? Either way, I think Bik is weaker than Wen, especially since we don't actually know which of Azzanad'ra theories is true: Did she fracture in two, or is she just that big ?

I could see Wen being Sliske's master, but I'm not entirely sure how. It would certainly feed into the Elder God pillar, but it would be odd for Wen to be the mastermind when this story pillar is about the Stone of Jas .

I got the impression that Wen willfully did this to Mah, since betrayal did play a theme in the quest. I think this could instead lead credence to Azzanadra's theory that Wen was split in two. Perhaps Wen wants one of her halves to replace Mah?

So he rips the wings of Icyene and Aviansie to create abominations known as Nihil which he immediately abandons. Then he gives Zamorak a face full of defying dictator frying. THEN he commits matricide by obliterating his own mother. This calls for only one answer folks!

Not to mention the relationship between Wen/Ice and Mah's core having ice on it.

I think somebody else mentioned on the forums too about how Wen could be Sliske's master.

It would explain Sliske not having to depend on Mah's drain as his source of power could be from Wen instead.

Wen is perhaps the greatest evil Lore will ever see.

You can get into a tantrum about not liking Zaros, you can take issue with what Saradomin does, You may even be right to fear Xau-Tak.

But none of them are on the level of a spiteful Elder god who only exists to destroy like one giant gaping jaw around the planet.

An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Absolutely, like your whole planet and everyone and everything you've ever known being devoured by the giant icy jaw that resides beneath it.

We'd just respawn. Everyone else, not so much.
