More powerful than you think, less powerful than you thought.

Let me throw this out there now. We are by no means weak. We have faced down Mahjarrat fresh off a ritual and made them yield. I wouldn't say that we defeated them, but that we fought them to a standstill, that they realized getting past us any time soon was unlikely, so they turned away out of.. impatience with the fight.
If they were to fight us to the death? We would definitely die first, but we wouldn't go down easy.

As far as humans go, we're the top. Some may top us in certain aspects of combat, but overall we're as good as good gets for a human. Nomad was the only other full-fledged human to make Zamorak's elite team in his attempt to steal the Catalyst from Sliske. Zamorak himself compared Nomad's mastery of magic to that of Enakhra, who was among the more powerful Mahjarrat. We beat Nomad. Three times over.

I wouldn't call us a god, but I wouldn't call us a human either. We're someone else... some thing else..

We are just fairly powerful mortals. Mortals that are ONLY powerful given the tools - Curses, auras, t90 weapons, armour and overloads if taken away and us just with fists and stats can't really do anything.

In accordance with quests being 'human' is often repeated suggesting being worthless and weak especially with the dragonking, who can easily one shot a max health player even in weakened state. Being the world guardian gives us a neutral position, (we can't increase power through the stone, but we also have no godly influence making us independent in choice) which is mostly why the player is trusted with such great tasks and quests rather than fully our ability.

I personally see the World Guardian as something similar to Raziel, from Legacy of Kain.

We're constantly resisting (well, sort of) the manipulations of Gods, and able to actually outsmart them and get away with it.
Now that We have God-resistance, all we need is the right weapon and we could stand toe-toe with them, maybe a fancy new Godsword?

Although we do have incredible strength, when that alone is outmatched, we also have agility (seriously, I'm getting RSI from all that clicking), or puzzle-solving skills to turn the situation to our advantage.

All I need now is to annoy my foes with Shakespearean - style monologues.

The World Guardian powers:
- Passive protection from 'gods'
-- they can't directly teleport you with out your permission (though as Seren demonstrated in Children of Mah it can be done indirectly and Saradomin could teleport items that were on you in such as the Wand of Ressurection, though it still took effort)
-- they can't directly enter you without your permission (demonstrated by Zaros)
Though there was the contradiction with the 'blessings' during WE1 where everyone got buffs or debuffs and such. Though may be a question of if Sara/Zam were using '"non-god" versions of the spells, of if the effects were heavily nerfed to the player character due to the power, but everyone else was being majorly effected (ie: 100% buffs while you only got 10%)
-- You can't be controlled
-- You can disrupt the effects of god spells (even Elder God, though only briefly)

I only came because i throught pc meant something very irrelevantly else, outside the game, very outside you know, The one that's used to run the game itself. Have to say it's what's after the End of RuneScape world, surely, and that power is beyond full i'd deem. O_o

So, to put this discussion to bed I suppose... Mod Raven has outright stated that the WG is indeed "As strong as the plot demands." when asked about it. A
