He also happens to be God of the Underworld, unless any of the other Gods fancy taking up that solitary burden, I'd say it gives Icthalrin a reason to feel safe.

Without Icthlarin souls will be devoured by Amascut. Icthlarin doesn't have to be replaced, if he gets killed and no one will take his role souls just won't be able to reach the underworld anymore. Gods can't go to the underworld anyway, so I doubt they care.

But I think the player will be able to decide Icthlarin's fate.

I wouldn't get too attached to Icthlarin if I were you. The Gods need easy kills to get their scores up, and Icthlarin happens to be a low tier God.
Low tier, yes, but also incredibly important for the continued functioning of Gielinor's underworld. I don't think any of the gods is evil or stupid enough to eternally condemn their followers souls - even if it's to acquire the Stone of Jas.

Though I suppose if the Dragonkin actually fall for Slsike's little game, they will start a campaign of Godslaying, and they (unlike the gods) are far beyond caring about anything but that wretched curse Jas placed upon them. Though I hope that the more clever among them will set their sights a little higher, and aim to kill Sliske himself, and take the stone from his cold, dead, hands. Though that might require one with a presence of mind that their curse seems to prevent.

I've never been let down by Zaros..

Of course they left, I would of if I could.

I agree that he's a great character and addition to the sixth age, but you sound like you're ready to convert.

I would say I've never been let down by Zaros but that is not entirely true. 6 millenia ago you see he died which was a collosal let down when he defeated himself by tripping.

As for this thread I am the hero of the 6th age as is my Zarosian brother Bob the Cat.

@Lord Zarvous Zamorak and Saradomin might. Bandos wants to prove himself strongest so he won't go for the weakest and Armadyl doesn't seem the type. Plus they care about their followers enough to worry about Amascut first.

I doubt Ic*larin will appear again tbh.

While I am Armadylian, I have a deep respect for Icthlarin and I will gladly assist him.
Same with Seren.

Zaros is still an unknown entity to me but if he is evil I will not support him even if I respect and like Wahisietel, and Azzanadra.
Sliske is a troll, and Zamorak, Saradomin, and Bandos are bad news.

You respect the doomer of Senntisten who does not have the guts to admit his huge fault to Azzanadra his trusted ally? Yet calls out Sliske as if Sliske has been doing anything but good for Zaros? Shame on you.

I don't see it that way. I see Icthlarin is obviously in love with death. They spent so much time together. They got hawts for each other. I can see love is in the air.

All jokes aside, yea. I've noticed a few things about the personalities of the gods;

- Armadyl sounded like an frustrated teenager. He doesn't seem to have a lot of authority compared to Saradomin.
- Bandos was EPIC. His followers made him seem stupid. But seeing him in person and hearing his voice? I can buy that he's a true war god. Now if only his faction didn't seem like a joke.
- Zamorak was a lot more toned down than i thought he would be.
- Saradomin? God, he was overbearing. Did you notice how smug he was over the Battle of Lumbridge? Every other line he was gloating over how he could smite everyone.
- Icthlarin seemed like the only one genuinely concerned with Death (love, I say!) and the potential consequences this could have on the world.

Great post, though I disagree with your evaluation of Armadyls voice, it was calm and peaceable, he does not want to command authority or control as Saradomin does, he simply wants peace and justice, his voice, like his appearance is mild, yet you can sense hidden depths :)

Exactly, my point is, as much as the other Gods want the stone of Jas, I doubt they would kill a god that meant there followers souls would not reach the underworld.
