Not out of the question, certainly. Though if Dark Beasts were getting a rework, I'd hope Jagex would stick to the appearance of its Slayer mask/helm this time or at least adjust the mask and helm to match their new appearance. *cough* abyssal demon graphical update *cough*

In all seriousness, yes. A little bit of consistency on Jagex's part would be nice.

I'm a fan of the look as it makes sense for them as Chthonians. Just wish they changed or would change the mask and helm as well.

Again, I'd hope that they'd use the associated Slayer Mask/Helm for the updated graphics (since they don't seem interested in updating the masks/helms to match the monster).

I also pointed out the apparent physiological similarities to the hunlief (wolf-bear with horns) to postulate a relationship between them, and the hunlief was a monster on Tarddiad.

Hence why I specified related to and relationship between. Like how a house cat is related to a sabertooth tiger despite the sabertooths being extinct.
