Individually they can probably be defeated without much trouble but as a pack they are fearsome. Zammy, bandos, saradomin, and armadyl combined wanted no part of just 1 in missing presumed death. And a direct shot from one is capable of killing Ichtlarin, the player, and death. Just because they used the mirror doesnt mean they needed to. Im interested to know their strength now that the stone is gone. Correct me if im wrong but wasnt it that they grew in power and rage the more the stone was used? I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

Post-quest dialogue with Azzanadra makes it explicitly clear that the Stone of Jas couldn't have been destroyed without the Mirror and the Heart of Gielinor. -
