'Desperate Measures' theory...

So we all know what happened at the end of Desperate Times, right? Recently, I stumbled across a piece of text that hints at something that might happen during or after the fight with Kerapac. If you access the Cres Memory in the Hall of Memories, Guthix says the following.

"The forbidden secrets of this universe and beyond must be recorded while I still live, so that they can be metered out only when the time is right.
The Great Revision.
The Broken Needle.
The Shadow Breach.
If that knowledge is lost, all things shall end. Not just life. Not just the universe. Everything."

A 'Broken Needle' is what caught my attention. The Needle and Kerapac are currently linked. Will it share the same fate as the Stone of Jas, and, if so, what will the consequences of that be? I'm curious to see where things go.

(Also, the Shadow Breach might be worth talking about as well. Who knows, maybe that was the 'title' of what happens in Curse of the Black Stone... or could be something else to look forward to.)

I forgot about this dialogue. They certainly make it seem like the Broken Needle and the Shadow Breach are as important as the Great Revision. Will be interesting to see where this goes!

And the Shadow Breach... could that have something to do with the Shadow Realm? That's something that's been talked about a lot recently...

I think you might be on to something. The great revision started everything, the broken needle will be the next big thing to happen in this universe, and then it will all end with the shadow breach. Personally I think the Shadow breach refers to the piercing or falling of the veil. When that happens, Gielinor is doomed. I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

The Shadow Breach could be the shadow realm expanding throughout the entire universe, as described in "The Shadow Realm" at RuneFest 2018. Basically making more room for monsters like the shadow leviathan to move around in. Scary stuff.
