Why is Oreb dark skinned?

Teragard is a whole planet?

While, yes Teragard is a whole planet their source of power is the Schism which is in one place -unless they harvest it from the other end of the world. Also, we know that Teragard is ruled by seven magister and it would be difficult for them to maintain control of a whole planet with thousands upon thousands of miles between them.

So far we have seen a white Tergardian, a blue (Sara), and a dark skinned. I would suggest that it depends on which family you come from.

I think Saradomin is an exception resulting from godhood, but I might be wrong, however this is interesting, considering that Lezarkus' Fire Warrior has red skin.

From a evolutionary, biological, and ecological perspective, Oreb's skin should not be dark. Oreb is the Magister of House Charron of Teragard. During One of a Kind, Teragard is described as being "a cold place, in both temperature and temperament". The planet is said to be a frigid tundra where people huddle around vents in the earth for warmth.

Dark skin pigmentation is a product of natural selection against folate depletion and DNA damage from UV-sun rays. The only way for humans to develop dark skin on a evolutionary perspective is if they were left to develop thousands of years on a hot or tropical environment. It's not something that occurs during one's lifetime.

Most humans on Gielinor, the Fremmenik especially, are said to hail from Teragard, while some colonized other worlds. Their skins are rather pale, compared to Oreb's. The only regions in game where we can find dark-skinned people is the Kharidian desert and Karamja, which makes sense (sort of) because it's a desert/tropical area that gets harsh sunlight. But these people have lived on Gielinor for centuries, while Oreb came to Gielinor...what? A few years ago? This makes no sense :O

Well that's a new one. I've heard that the removal of the WIlderness and free trade would kill RS. I heard the same when it was brought back. I heard that EoC was gonna kill RS. I heard that RS3 was/will die because of OSRS.

I've heard so many claims that RS was gonna die because of one reason or another, but I think this is the first time I've heard this one.

On topic, I took the liberty of taking a look at the appearances of Nomad and Oreb, and their skin tones are strikingly similar(especially when you compare Nomad's chathead to Oreb's model). This leads me to agree with Tlamovec's conclusion that it likely has to do with his practice of soul magic.

Can you guys believe all these damn goblins east of Lumbridge? Fucking diversity. They should be human hermits or something.

Like, why do they keep introducing new races every year? I'm tired of seeing non-humans everywhere. This politics is ridiculous. They're just trying to make us more accepting of illegal aliens.
