Wowie, can you believe it's been 1 1/2 years since our last Saradomin thread?!?

Anyways, let's start by playing a game. Do you know how to play Where's Waldo? Well, good. Where's Saradomin?

I see 2 Ultimate Good Gods, a warmonger, and a wing-ripper, but I don't see THE 'ultimate good god', THE warmonger, THE wing-ripper, himself!

Before the quest, we got a cute little dialog from Zilyana.

Wowie. What was he doing? Sitting on his throne? Necroing some Centaurs? You think the fate of Gielinor would be more important than sending his lackies.

Original message details are unavailable.
"The ruin I brought to the Naragi is my greatest shame. Civilizations have risen and fallen, and still the actions of my past haunt me. And so they should, for regret begets wisdom, and I have much to regret. I was young and filled with a new and glorious power. I wore the Elder Crown, and thought it granted me the right to rule. In my arrogance, I did not anticipate the Naragi would refuse. I sought to make amends, when the beast and the hunter brought violence of their own. I fought against them for the same reason that I now battle Zamorak... To protect you. To remove a threat. As long as these invaders exist, your world shall never know peace."
-Saradomin, The Death of Chivalry

But, we saw the same thing during World Event 3, doing a whole lot of talking about World Protecting, yet never doing it.

Anyways, let's talk a little bit about #TypicalSaradominists here for a minute. This quest was chalk full of it. At least Moia was spot on

But anyways, we were showed with messages not to trust the Saras. One of my favorite quotes came from the Lord Daquarius

Wowie. And as we saw with the Invasion of Falador, the White Knights lied to get their position. It's not big surprise that they're after power.

Let's not forget this little gem when Garlandia and Zilyana were arguing.

Wowie. I've said it for a while, and I'll say it again. I fully expect Zilyana to get a Good ol' Fashion Saradomin Wing-Rippin' before the end of the Sixth age. Would only make this more poetic.

Well, that's enough of that, we all know how the faction works by now. Cultists and Fanatics following Saradomin and murdering those that stand in their way.

Original message details are unavailable.
"Servants of Saradomin are not concerned with trifling matters such as proof. We have our faith, and our faith guides us."
-Drezel, In Aid of the Myreque

Ready to die for their god. We've gotten years of examples of #Saradoministlivesdontmatter. Hell, our last Saradomin was all about that when Saradomin sent wave after wave of his own soldiers against a god that was weaker than him while he stood there and watched.

Btw, we never had a thread for The Needle Skips, so let's discuss that and #Saradoministlivesdontmatter real quick.

Who can forget Megan's prayers to Saradomin to save Primrose?

Think we all remember what happened there.

But anyways, let's talk about Guthix and Saradomin for a minute.

We all knew Saradomin wouldn't have left willingly like we had been told, and Guthix thought so as well.

Saradomin did indeed left on his own accord, but Guthix believed that it was because Saradomin knew that he didn't stand a chance. Saradomin viewed this Naragi as a child playing god, and likely wanted to stomp him out :^). Guthix saw both Saradomin and Bandos as the types that would try to come back.

Now that the quest is over, we have a super powered Dragonkin running around with the Needle, Staff of Armadyl, and Elder Mirror at the very least. Saradomin is missing from his castle, but will we see him lift a finger to stop Kerapac or the elder gods, or will we be forced to #StopSaradomin?

In fairness to the gods that couldn't show up, I believe none of them knew what the actual point of the meeting was. No one knew if Gielinor was at stake or not.

Maybe they will now since their emissary had informed them maybe? or perhaps they trust their followers and Us (HA) to step in.

Oh yeah, I think the Gods will definitely play a role. Whether that role is a direct fighting on the front lines against the new threat or lending their followers/armies to the cause remains to be seen, but they'll certainly be involved.

Ahhh I missed this. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

It does beg the very concerning question as to what he could have possibly thought was more important to be doing right now. Does he already know?

On the topic of attendees missing, where's Zaros?

I"m concerned about both their absences now.

Well, to be fair I don't think the gods actually knew what the meeting was about. They just knew Seren wanted to gather rather than what the purpose of it was. Now that the gravity of the situation has been revealed I'm sure they'll be more involved.
