Where are the Godless?

So in the lore corner I asked some questions about the Godless and none of them were answered so I thought we should perhaps discuss why they are being neglected.

First where is their leader Biehn and why haven't we seen him yet? He was annonced in 2013 yet we haven't seen him yet.

How come they have Vorago as their representative when he isn't even part of the Godless and only allied with them to kill Tuska? Why was he by himself in SE? Do they not care?

Why have we only seen 3 of them? Where is their headquarters? Every faction has had a spotlight so how come they have been forgotten?

Any reason why they are all half naked when they are standing infront of battlefield? It looks silly.
There is joy in combat that can't be found anywhere else.

The reason they are half-naked is because clothes are a symbol of suppression and social control, artificially created by the gods to enforce their dominance over others and to censor deviant modes of thought, behavior and self-expression. I'm too Unaligned to have a forum signature.

It was getting off to a good start as the Guthixian replacement but due to panic they might be better supported by players than Zaros, Devs set out to sabotage the faction thinking they could build it and their story up over time afterwards. They intended to have an effect and control all the outcomes.

Oh they had an effect alright. DOA, and they have been resuscitating them ever since. It did pick up a bit after the Tuska event, so maybe things will turn out well enough in the end. But it maybe too little too late, for something that should have been an Age long story line of Gods and Mortals....that became just about gods due to, in my opinion, mismanagement at the start. The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

There was no "Sabotage". You're just being impatient for your time in the story.

LETHALINTENT They are not getting any screentime though. I am interested in their story even though I am not in their faction. They won a world event against popular gods like Armadyl and Saradomin so the player base likes them. But perhaps that is because Vorago was with them which is sad really because Vorago claims he has no interest in their cause.

Eren Lapucet are you joking? Clothes and armor specifically have nothing to do with being oppressed. You wear armor in battle to deflect damage from yourself not to honor a god.
There is joy in combat that can't be found anywhere else.

There was no "Sabotage". You're just being impatient for your time in the story. Every idea and possible link to Guthix and the Godless was shot down decisively. Every possibility to a link with the Vorago was derided, though later reversed years later so they had an association, probably so the Godless could at least take part. Invention was supposed to be what the Godless had to put them on a more even footing, but they bowed to pressure and so the godless were written off as a rag tag bunch of - well I am sure you msu remember that yourself.

I take heart that such things have finally passed from active memory and maybe now they are going to get a more intimate connection to the Anima Mundi that the problems of the past are now behind us.

As for our time in the story, we at least had Tuska,no much of a story maybe but things are at least looking up. The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

No the godless are not oppressed or sabatoged. Vorago should not be a member of the Godless and he never should have been associated with them at all. But with that said, yes, the Godless are severely lacking in content. The entirity of Sliske's Game--basically the Sixth Age God Wars--passed without them. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

And as I tried to point out, tat was as they were being introduced and is in the past. Your phrasing shows you to think I meant currently. Though the lack on involvement other thatn as background barbarians running around in their birthday suits to get covered in dung by the locals doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

The 6th Age has past with their only involvement being Tuska. I had great hopes they would be one of the factions in the GWD2 dungeon, they did have abroad species membership after all. But we'll have to wait and see. At least now that the Morytania story is wrapped up those species can get more involved with the current story of Gielinor as well.
