So I just got back into playing made a new account and well you know started skilling the usual routine THEN I started doing quest so I start the quest "The Death Of Chivalry" and I've always skipped the dialogue on every quest so I decide to read/hear the dialogue heck why not its voice acted and SWEET BABY MERCIFUL BABY JESUS AND TOM CRUISE! That quest was AMAZING loved it the story was awesome I was emotionally invested with the characters especially the brave "Sir Owen" and the boss battle was very challenging just an amazing quest all round. Amazing work Jagex you made me have a nerdgasm keep it up guys and gals cant wait till I get to continue the next quest. That is all ^_^

Oh, it always makes me so happy when a non-Lorehound discovers how amazing Runescape quests can be.

Unfortunately they stopped doing voice-acting a couple years ago, but there are still some amazing voice acted quests in there.

If you're looking for a fantastic quest to do next, try One Piercing Note! Best quest in the game, IMO, great music and VO. You can start it just east of Al Kharid.

Also, I'd be careful on the lore forums. LOTS of spoilers here, in case you do start getting invested into the game's deeper story.

Basically this, but I disagree with OPN's voice acting quality

Really? Maybe compared to a couple of the Ports adventurers, but I can't think of another voiced RS quest that matches (much less surpasses) the voices and sound design of One Piercing Note.

I can't say I agree. OPN was Jagex's first and best attempt at VO.

Death of Chivalry is an amazing quest, I also agree with Rondstat One Piercing Note is much like Death of Chivalry in the voice acting.

What is really cool about Death of Chivalry is that it replaced Black Knight's Fortress, and comparing 2007 Black Knight's Fortress to Death of Chivalry is knight and day in difference.

They really did a great job appealing to everyone with that quest. Even people who didn't like Sir "I hate puzzles" Owen.

Amascut the Devourer, demi-goddess of destruction...
I offer up the soul of Sir Owen to you. Feast upon him in your glory.
As a Temple Knight, you were useless.
In battle, you were utterly superfluous.
...I hope you suffer in eternal fire.
Sir Owen...you poor dead fool.
You were always annoying, and...
I hope you rot.
(Loot Sir Owen's corpse.)

Sometimes I wonder why we're still called heroes.

(also some other recommendations for awesome novice quests: Rune Mysteries/Memories, Stolen Hearts/Diamond in the Rough, and One Piercing Note. Above novice but still fairly low level, the oldie-but-a-goodie cave goblin series, starting with The Lost Tribe)
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.
