If Saradomin actually deigns to talk to you about his daughter post-quest, doesn't he mention something hoping that she one day realizes that what he's doing for her is for the best?

Perhaps it was less a direct kidnapping by the Obsidian Triumvirate and more a case of a daughter running away from a father she considered overbearing and controlling. Heck, Zaros just says that Nex found her on one of he Triumvirate's worlds, not that they were forcing her to stay against her will.

Yeah, yeah, they are probably bad guys, but I can't I dream up a different explanation?

Saradomin's talk about his mortal origin had this bit:

"I was a justicar on Teragard, one tasked with upholding and enforcing the law. I risked my life each day to preserve order and protect the innocent. At times the forces of avarice and corruption I fought against seemed insurmountable. Upholding the law was a tough yet noble duty, and my obsession. It took its toll on me, and my family , but my community thrived as a result. Perhaps that's why the Crown chose me. It could sense in me that drive for order. That yearning for the world to be the best it could."

I wonder if it's less control and more that his endless quest to help the world had, at some point, unknowingly driven a wedge between Saradomin and his daughter, that she felt abandoned and uncared for in the grand scheme of things. Maybe her disappearance opened Saradomin's eyes that he was repeating his mortal history and he cared too much about her to let that happen again.

I'm willing to bet my entire Gower Quest gp reward that Adrasteia (think that's her name) was the "weakness" that Kalibath claims the White Knights found. She might have fled from her father once the White Knights found her. -

Didn't Saradomin indicate that the majority of his family is dead? I mean, I know he was lying about several things throughout the quest, but Adrasteia seems like she's be a big deal. I agree that she's most likely the weakness Kalibath was looking for, but how old is she? Is she a more recent child of his, or does have an extended lifespan somehow?

To be fair we don't actually know how Saradomin's daughter is... For all we know she's like 4 and Saradomin knocked up a girl right after Guthix died. She isn't even necessarily a pure human. She could be part icyene.

Considering that Saradomin told us that his original family are all dead, I'd say that this daughter is a new addition to the Saradomin family. Maybe after he travelled to New Domina, he made himself their leader and god by marrying, OR/AND, producing an Heir.

Does this not mean that Adrasteia is half-divine? Like, a Demigod?

As Khazard does not appear to be any degree of god (no more innately powerful than the average Mahjarrat), divinity does not seem to be something a god's offspring would inherit.

Who else thought of the Cardassian Obsidian Order?

Yeah, divinity doesn't seem to be inherited from what we've seen so far. Moia looks like she's probably immortal (but whatever she did with Bilrach in Daemonheim might have something to do with that). I wish she liked me, since we got to know her with the Saga, but I must have dissed Zamorak in some quest or another and she's mad at me, now.

I miss the days when I thought Sir Tiffy was super cool and the Saradomin thing would never really come up. I find it pretty wild that players can still be fans of him after reading about his de-winging escapade.

E: I definitely don't spend as much time as I should in the lore forum, seeing as quests are why I've continued to play the game for the past 11 years. There's so much to keep up with nowadays. Continual disappointment is the spice of life.

Saradomin is in desperate, desperate need of positive lore after that incident and nothing else put in.

The Obsidian Tribunal are likely Xau-Tak followers, and it's possible that his daughter went into the Schism and ended up on one of their worlds. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!
