~Cave Horror Gods:~

Tezcasathla is Xau-Tak

Nyarlahydra *I think* is their planet's Death

Yogsathla *I think* is the God that Marimbo accidentally killed

Uvhastur... I have no idea how to interpret this one.

What about you guys?

Xau-Tak was mistaken for Tezcasathla (a creation myth) when it ‘aided’ the Mwanu at the lake and perpetuated this misconception once they were on Gielinor.

The god Marimbo drank to death was likely the beast of tusk and fury, given apes and monkeys inhabited Jermyn/Bobonosia and it was described as using a horn to turn the jungle against the Meanu.

References to Nyarlahydra, Yogsathla, and Uvhauster only show up after the Mwanu are brought to Gielinor, hinting that they are creations of Xau-Tak.

The Nyarlahydra depiction seems to be an attempt to represent the Skeletal horror (cleaned, strong bones bound together and topped with a black mask wearing horror skull).

As such, I would expect Yogsathla and Uvhauster to be similarly abhorrent creations made by Xau-Tak. Perhaps the Ambassador was meant to be Yogsathla (grey colored with a scary space rift down the center of it’s body).

This may be off the wall and unrelated but the journals released detailed 3 entities of form correct?

Could this at all somehow be the Obsidian Tribunal that had Saradomin's daughter on a "tomb world'?

I originally thought thw ambassador may be Yog as well but not sure why the Mwanu would hate him so. I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

Nyarlahydra Was mentioned as a Deity, it appeared in the last book by appearance, and is possibly the Skeletal horror.

Yogsathla Appeared in the last book also.

Uvhastur Same as above.

These three were present (by appearance) in the last book as the one who wrote it gave details of their appearance, the first book explained what they look like. SO I'd assume they are probably blessed horrors, just like the journal said.

They could all be ambassadors of Xau-tak. I feel like he works in a similar fashion as the elder gods. He doesnt speak directly to mortal life but has avatars, ambassadors, and the such to do so for him.
