As revealed at Runefest 2016, sometime this year the next chapter in the Elder God questline will be released. Featuring Bik, the elder god under Entrana. And as I said in my last episode, Zaros went on a full on tantrum in Sliske's Endgame because Jas wouldn't let him be an Elder God because he cant create life from nothing. I believe the concept art of the quest shown at Runefest may have hidden meaning. We all know he stands no chance against Bik in a fight, so whats Zaros gonna do?
Its one of the oldest tricks in the book. One person denies you of something you want, go ask someone else.
Or perhaps this is a "Hey auntie look what I did!" tactic.
In either case something big is going to go down between Zaros and Bik in this quest.
But in the end, lets be realistic here. No matter how hard Zaros tries he CANT make life out of nothing.
And even if he does pull it off, he'd be the first ever known male Elder God. Whether or not Jas, Bik Wen and Ful would allow such a change I can't say. If it came down to it I think they would be more compelled to choose Seren over Zaros. Mainly because she's well, female.
This has been this week's episode of Lore Theories. The next one will be on January 26th I have things to do next week
And apologies for those who were wondering where I was last Thursday, I was busy.
I'm Lady Icyene, signing off.
Why would they choose Seren over Zaros if Zaros manages to create life out of nothing? That makes Zaros a T1 God, not Seren. If both Zaros and Seren manage it then your theory is plausible.

Now that we've seen Jas and just how reasonable she is, I don't think we'll be fighting any Elder gods. They have all agreed to hear us out on why mortal life deserves to exist. This is a matter to be resolved with words. Well, I certainly hope so. Seren proved quite the contrary that you can indeed cripple an elder god enough to kill it.
As for what Zaros will do. I suspect each quest that has us meet an Elder god from now on will also see Zaros make progress towards his crowning creation of life, at the end of all this he will have something to show for his time and effort, and I suspect we will be the deciding factor if he gets his birthright or not.
I doubt the Elder gods have what's known as the mortal concept of Sexism there, but it's Zaros the one effectively saying:
"I don't accept you telling me I cannot do this, I will show you I can do this, thus proving you wrong and proving that I deserve to be one of you"
Were as Seren will just.. What exactly? I'm not sure, she does just tend to sit in her tower and mope. Think she'll try and take a shot at making life too? I'm far less inclined to trust her with that though. Didn't go well when she tried tampering with existing life.
So as far as I'm concerned, Unless they set Seren up to do something more than just offer us a hand, I see no reason for Jas to deny Zaros (With Zarosian player support) his dues as an Elder god if he succeeds in this seemingly impossible task. Since you know, he is actually making a conscious effort to earn it.

The reason Jas didn't make Zaros an Elder is because
1) It's impossible.
2) He's a child.
3) That would go against her own self interests.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Sometimes I feel you're pulling this out of nowhere. It's most likely possible but extremely difficult. He's only a child in comparison to Jas. You can't really call him a child unless you're Jas or another Elder God. How do you know that would be against her self-interests? There is nothing to suggest it would be unless Jas gets less anima and we don't have enough information to suggest otherwise.

You spelled it out yourself. Anima is limited. There wasn't even enough to feed all five Elders last time, so wasting it is a huge taboo. I mean when Zaros comes around saying "Hey make me an anima consuming Elder God because I wanna lead you", it's not surprising that Jas would refuse him, even if it was possible to make him one. This is also the guy who wanted to cause destruction in their nest and try to hold their eggs hostage. I'd say the only reason the Elders don't outright despise him is because he's not a threat.
