Jmods have said before that the elder gods put the kiln in the core of the planet and as the planet developed they realized that it was a failure and ripped the kiln from the core causing it to be shattered like it is.

I find it more likely it was a different planet. Like the Gobi homeworld.
I also think it's likely Jododu Otoku used this weapon when ascended. Hence why life existed on a planet with asteroids surrounding it.
I always imagined that the Aviansie evolved with the floating islands in mind...
The timeline I'm thinking is, Jododu find the artefact... uses it on some planet- and the debris starts colliding into Bandos's homeworld. He throws the artefact away- where it eventually hits Abbinah, and goes into hibernation.
Creatures on Abbinah evolve to deal with the destruction caused- and eventually Armadyl finds the hammer- and uses it on a different world perhaps.

Can you point to a source where Jmods state that Abbinah's floating islands specifically were the result of the kiln being ripped out of Abbinah's core? I have found nothing on it, certainly not from Mod Raven, so it sounds more like a theory.

You're welcome.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.
