Having played Undertale recently, it came to my mind that it would be an interesting option to be able to kill gods during Sliske's Endgame. This would only be an option for replays only, and would result in a sort of "bad" ending (or endings, depending on how many and which gods you kill) that is completely noncanon.
Since it would be too time consuming to make boss fights with the gods, the way this would play out is that the player would have an option to kill to strike a blow to the gods when their defense is down / they least expect it. Followers of the gods might can attack you for this, and other gods might find out, such as in a scenario where there are two gods in a room and you kill one of them. This might also escalate things and gods will start killing other gods.
However, this might be too dark for a game like Runescape, and it may not be worth the dev time. Although people would be more interested to do replays
