Runescape hasn't really been known for group questing.
Usually, group questing can be "problematic" for any one of a number of reasons:
- players having requisite levels for the quest
- players having requisite unlocks (ie: other quests)
- players having the time/availability for doing a quest with you
- quest mechanics allowing a player to "replay" the quest
Before an update in RS3, Shield of Arrav and Heroes Quest (where you had to get the gang arm band) hit the latter point pretty hard. The quests could only be played once.
Shield of Arrav required either someone who hadn't completed the quest (which was difficult in later years) or forcing the player or a friend to create a throw away account just to create a noob character to "help" which after completing the quest, would have been useless.
Heroes' Quest wasn't quite as locked as a player who had done the quest a a Phoenix gang member could still access the area where they could be a sniper, and thus still help.
Plus, not a lot of quests offer the chance for "grouping up" as portions of the quest occur in instanced or out of the way areas.
At best, the only "help" you're going to get is advice over a chat ... or sometimes someone being able to act as a pack mule with extra food and tradeable pots.
