I whole heartedly agree with the quests being soloable. The player should never be in a position like the old Shield of Arrav where gameplay is completely dependent on the actions of others.
That said, it doesn't hurt if there are opportunities to include others in the adventure. But it is
your
adventurer. They are an ally, mercenary, pack mule, meat shield, tag along, spectator, cheerleader, or whatever you want to call them.
On other points, I wasn't sure how to include some other quests.
For example:
Dragon Slayer - other players could go with you to Crandor for example and keep the local creatures off your back.
I'm also not sure if the fight with the lesser demon in Melzar's maze has to be 1v1.
Blood Runs Deep - in the part where you're rescuing the King, I know other players can take part in some of the sections to help protect from the local creatures in the tunnels.
Shades of Morton - players can get help in building the temple so they can consecrate Serum 207 into 208. Some players do go to the dedicated world for Shades of Morton activity. But nothing stopping you from recruiting Clanmates.
