The next renmark mention to bring up is guthix's own account of when he visited it. He said renmark (before its destruction) was a "place of wild nature where four ruling courts of the seasons where in constant conflict, yet maintained a balance of power"

The question that comes to mind here is how where the 4 courts in a constant conflict with each other if (according to this new book) only 1 court and 1 land existed at a time, losing its memories of the other seasons and "going on their merry way". Now you could say how they keep switching from season to season is the balance but guthix really seemed to describe them as kinda at war with each other maintaining a power balance between the 4 courts. The fact guthix says there are 4 courts against each other really describes it differently than "1 court which swaps between 4 forms unaware the other 3 forms"

Depends how the seasons worked on Renmark. It certainly creates an issue if the entire planet changed at once. But should the plane have been divided amongst the seasons sort of like an extended day on Earth (spring = just before and after dawn, summer = just before and after midday, autumn = just before and after dusk, and winter = just before and after midnight), you could well have a perpetual conflict between the courts (especially since the passage of time would make it seem like each court was invading one neighbor and being invaded by the other).

Guthix also goes on to mention how he only found 3 major pieces of renmark after its destruction. A land of eternal winter, a land of eternal sunlight and a periphery where neither can endure the other (land of holly and hawthorn). This seems to further emphasize how these 2 lands have always previously been described and the polar opposites to each other, ie describing how the land of sunlight was always heavily implied to be the summer court

Guthix also mentions that he hasn't been able to locate large fragments of Renmark (leaving room for the other lands mentioned to still exist.

I tried looking into the possibility that the queen of sunrise took over santa's summer domain (still weird XD) after he left for the land of snow but that still doesnt add up. Crux of the problem is it was near enough stated and explained that its the land of sunlight which brings summer to gilenor when it draws near, similar to how the land of snow brings winter. But according to this book it should be the land of glades causing this, even if the queen switched lands it doesnt explain why the land of sunlight is the polar opposite rival who was said to cause summer

Then given how that event also said these 2 queens battle at both spring and autumn further implies that sunlight should be summer and not spring. Summer and winter are the 2 most influential seasons of the year in which spring and autumn are the transitional stages inbetween these 2 extremes. That is EXACTLY what is described in the 2011 easter event and why sunlight was always summer and not spring as this book states

Then you look at the description of the lands. One of fields of grass and flowers yet called summer, and another of eternal sunlight yet is spring? Everything about this just says these 2 lands have been mixed up in a lore goof. In the story there is nothing which says santa HAS to be summer, but previous lore says sunlight HAS to be summer. Ergo simple answer, switch them back instead of jumping hoops trying to come up with an explanation

Ohh and about that 2nd quote from guthix. Yeah i know guthix didnt find all the pieces and he missed some, main point with that was it outright references the easter event where this lore came from, meaning cus of that quote the lore stated in that event is canon to the main game. I know alot of people try to say holiday events are just for fun and non canon, but given guthix brings it up in normal content it cements it as genuine lore, and further reiterates how the lands of snow and sunlight are indeed the opposites to eachother

I think you're getting too hung up on the fact that in "our world," Summer and Winter are culturally seen as the primary opposing seasons. I think it's most likely what Hguoh said--the Lands of Leaves & Glades just don't come close enough to Gielinor to affect it, leaving the seasons to the opposing courts that do (winter and spring)
