Hazeeling gods is the worst decision they could take the story in.
You're free to hate any god you like, weaken them, demean them, call them any hurtful name your noggins can conjure, but when it comes with them permanently being erased from the game, they either die for EVERYONE like Bandos and V or they die for NOBODY.
And yes little Saradominists, this does extend to your god. I would not want to see Saradomin die unless it was canon for everyone who played though the quest that would result in it.
If you disagree, then you are clearly in the wrong line of interest here. God death itself is bad enough, but optional god death? Disastrous.
Edit: This posted just now on twitter by Osborne due to pretty much all of us who agree on the matter messaging him all at once about it. Crisis averted as far as I'm concerned, but it's still a valid point. A god dies for all, or doesn't die at all.
