First, why would you want to kill Seren? What exactly has she done to warrent the player wanting to kill her? It's exactly why you couldn't fight against her return or sabotage her, she's more or less innocent in the Players eyes. You have to actively go against a god for them to have any negative outcome, No reason to do so with her.


Seren knowingly tortured her elves into submition, withheld information about their curse from them, abandoned an entire clan to suffer in terrible pain without even telling them why they would be in pain, preformed experiments on her subjects who were brainwashed to love her, abandoned an entire species on a planet to be killed off by the mah.

Take your pick, there's tons of reasons to hate Seren, and that's not even taking into account the responsibilities she may or may not have for the dark lords actions.

The reason you can't work against Seren in the quest is because you are restoring her to save the city, because remember the city was quickly ripping itself apart. You do have the option of saying how you're not doing it for Seren, but for the city or something like that.

Maybe Zamorak gets killed off, and the player has to pretend to be Zamorak to make Evil Dave happy?

Or, poor Bilrach, he gets stuck playing stand-in for Zamorak as Lord Zam has more important things to do than being around Evil Dave. Like:
- sorting his sock drawer
- brooding on this throne
- wing exercises
- waxing his chest
- abdominal crunches
- write a fan fic youtube video remake of the Assassination of Zaros and submit if for the Golden Gnomes at next year's runefest
- figure out how to upload to youtube

I may disagree with Zamorak's philosophy, but I acknowledge that he did good things as well, like helping Moia. And I don't think he should die either; the Dragonkin will be on his case, he's got a bit of positive light on his side, and while I'm aware Saradominists and Zamorakians will be pissed about this, both Saradomin and Zamorak need each other to confirm their own theories. Saradomin can't preach order and wisdom without a chaotic or 'evil' counterpart to which Zamorak fits the bill perfectly, and Zamorak needs Saradomin as an example of order bringing stagnation, such as Sir Rebrum or the citizens of towns crying for help and pleading for mercy in the midst of chaos.

Even without the events of the Sixth Age coming to play, Zamorak has been made out to be the main villain for far too long to warrant killing off. It would end up defeating the entire object of the game for those who haven't completed the quests. Zamorak has always had his chances; it's not even a question of them being improved. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

So... Is there anyone who actually might be at risk? I guess Armadyl since Jagex seems to have zero plans for him, and RoP is in development hell and doesn't even need him anyway. Sliske might be killed off since this is his "endgame".

Yeah, I sort of expect Sliske to die at the Endgame. Or at the very least be Hazeel'd. i think the next chapter will be about his Master...

Why in the world would Jagex want to keep the flaws of a faction god hidden? That just doesn't make any sense, especially considering all the trouble they went through to expose Saradomin's flaws.
