Thats meant to be the QBD? I cant see it at all. They really could of made a clearer dragon picture, heck the spirit dragons from the eastern lands would of fitted much better. As for ents they are in rs, they where one of the original random event monsters remember? I think they've been brushed off to live in the enchanted valley area now according to the lore but they're definatly still referenced here and there. Evil tree's dont see like an actual race of creature like the others being animals, they just seemed like a freak mutation when the anima goes a bit off around a tree, or something like that

AS I said, the old Zodiac event showed the creatures, here . The difference is that more are shown in the image, but those in the shield, as the 12 years are still in the image shown above, just upgraded in a sense.

Rooted as in? They do exist, their lore of origin was confirmed, they just have little appearance within the game/

Rooted as in having roots in the ground making them be stationary. RS ents tend to be mobile with trunk like legs.

Well let's see:

4 spiked protrusions on top, the last being much bigger, match the QBD's 3 medial horns and large medial fin immediately behind her head.

The pale underbite matches up to the QBD's jaw.

Lower fins on side of face (hint of another on the other side) match up with the QBDs face fins.

4 pale eye spots on this side (3 in a row and one slightly under and further forward (in front of the fins)) match the positioning of the QBD's eyes.

Pointy pale sliver further back from the 3 eye spots in a row matches the QBD's medium sized horns between her medial and lateral horns on the back of her head.

The bigger pale pointy bit further down and back match the QBD's large lateral horns on the sides of the back of her head.

Bent over serpent shape matches the QBD's neck and head posture during battle.

The pale blocky bits at the base of the 'neck' are the QBD's 'collar.'

It's the QBD in profile (sideways).
