I feel like the Myreque series is ended, but there is still more to be had for quests involving Vampyres, Icyene, and Morytania themselves.
If you think for a minute the transitions we helped bring about at the end of the quest will go over peacefully and without incident, you're kidding yourself. I'm sure we'll have to mitigate peace between the humans and vampyres, and maybe even icyene at some point in time.. This was the
Myreque
finale, not the
Vampyre
finale

We now have confirmation from a Mod that any future quests in the area will take place in the 6th Age! =] (updated 1st post as well)
Original message details are unavailable.
River of Blood essentially takes Morytania up to the 6th Age - we do not think any further quests in that area would be 5th Age based.
The sequence where we reclaimed Paterdomus was a small part of the quest, but it's what I'd most want to follow up on. The Monks of Zamorak are gone, and we've fought some of the conspirators. With the edicts broken, their covenant should have ended, so I want to see where they've all gone now.

Splinter Group is interesting, because their book seems to say that when the Gods return then their Covenant is over. So, if they're going to do more with them (which it certainly seems they will) then it would need to be done in specific ways. Either it would need to be 5th age content, it would need to be sixth age but give some reason they didn't disband (maybe their isn't enough all out war yet), or they could do a "Tales of the Splinter Group" where were travel to a bunch of different places to collect memories and see how they have increased animosity between God Followers in the past.
I would also like to see a quest or maybe even a series detailing what werewolves will do with their newfound freedom. Will they try to make Canifis completely independent and find that some vyres are resistant to that? Will they cross the Salve and attempt to create new societies, or blend into others? Will they declare war on other societies or maybe even Vyres?
Would be nice to see a miniquest for players to work with Safalaan and Vanescula to build up Burgh de Rott and Meiyerditch. Maybe allow us to assign workers and trade with Varrock for materials, etc.
Depends on what Zamorak does with the Werewolves, he is if not a big advocate on liberating oppressed races and the splinter group is torn between true freedom for all humans in Morytania or order and society at a cost of a few freedoms in the name of Saradomin.
Zaros may ask of Vanescula's loyalty and knowing that Sliske still has the Barrows Crypt needs help in "restoring" the tower to ensure his hold in Morytania still exists. He is not the lord of shadow for nothing.
Right now there's very little reason for either god to intercede. Saradomin has little need of Efiartay, and the spot the alliance is at is very good for him. Getting involved now would risk the Vampyres simply lashing out due to fear. There's not many ways he can twist the vampyres arms without just wiping them out- which would at the very least be really bad PR for him.
Zamorak might be somewhat satisfied with the state of the alliance as well- save for the state of the werewolves and the fact Aeonisig is still breathing. But both of these could be rectified in future quests. The only thing Zamorak can really gain from Morytania at this point is more military forces- but getting directly involved would risk a standoff with Saradomin which would again risk the alliance falling apart and a wasteful war starting.
I could imagine Zamorak sending some followers to recruit some vyres, or more likely werewolves, but that may not be a top priority since he already has a giant army that he hasn't been really using anyway. Maybe Jerrod would recruit some werewolves on Hazeel's behalf.
The gods are concerned more with power than territory at this point. Right now, Morytania is just really infertile swampy territory, with no great strategic importance, unlike in the God Wars, when it was at least used for a while to house the stone of Jas.
Part of me also wonders if it'd be easier to go to Vampyrium in the 6th age as well, with the edicts gone, and whether any true born would be willing to reinvesitgate those possibilities, since there seems to be an adequate food source on Vampyrium as well. The 6th age does seem pretty close to instigating armageddon and Morytania isn't the most politically stable anyway.

I agree. The fate of Hallowvale hangs in precarious balance, so a new Sixth Age quest in which this alliance deal with the pressures of the return of the gods - and with us (the Player) now being the World Guardian - would be most interesting. Honestly, a post-Myreque quest series has a ton of potential both storywise as well for giving the World Guardian the ability to make choices that affect the world in visible ways. For example, just whether the World Guardian supports Saradomin, Zamorak, Zaros, or is of the Godless has alone huge plot potential.
Does the alliance survive? If not, must the sickle rise again but in new -i.e. no longer paramilitary resistance movement - form. I am just tossing out ideas but, as said, the possibilities are endless and it would be a crime is Jagex did not return to that so deeply historic and tragic land.

Zaros will be surprised to see Vanescula finally reclaiming Morytania in the name of Zaros, although less pleased with Saradomin in power, he is at least pleased to see Zamorak's remnants being all but ousted from Morytania.
Zamorak may have a quest lined up in order to well...sow chaos in Morytania. What we did in the Myreque series was like Red Axe, crippled Zamorak.
Armadyl may use this an example of how the followers of the gods can coexist and that even before he died, Guthix help brought balance to a conflict.
This blast from the past gulled my puny eye or two and i have to reclaim that Empty Sack in no way would care for mortal life nor even god life, for he, or rather at this nihilistic point, it, it soughs only after the elder life. I say it'll be either death or victory, i wouldn't see this dreamfart wandering amongst us after failure in such decree of intention.
