Profiled. Where did they mention the possibility a poll on the removal of this? ;o

Poll isn't out yet.
In one of the recent August Developer Q&A livestreams, they mentioned the possibility of polling removal (or just removing it without a poll. Not like the mini-game is heavily played these days anyways.)

The Void Knights have called in every favour they can for the final big push against the Pest Stronghold in the Void Realm. Crack that and the Pests have nowhere left to run and it will just be about mopping up.

I'm pretty sure it's been stated 10000000 times that it's not that simple, and the pests will be there for the indefinite future. The Void is massive, and if we kill one queen, another will just grow up somewhere else in the emptiness.
If that is the cas that changes things drastically. Then the end if the 6th Age is simple. The Pests kill everyone. They would have a universe worth of resources and population to throw at one planet and in all of history no one has ever won a defensive war. To defeat your enemy you have to go to them, otherwise all you have is an extended ceasefire. Wars are best fought on their territory as all teh damage is done there and it is their local resources worn down. Which would also make the Void quests and supposedly defeating the Pest Queen utterly pointless and Guthix would be one of the worst idiots ever to walk the realms of Gielinor. As for the simple fact he would have been the ONLY one that could end such a war one where we can never stop things at the source. It means he walked away knowing everyone was going to die due to him not intervening when he could.

I'm not completely sure about having them go to reinforce the Void Knights.
Yes, it would make for a lovely in game story of someone coming en masse to the aid of another organization.

The question is just how big is MA?
And wouldn't this many reinforcements to the Void Knights mean that Pest Control would also be closed down?

ARMS/MA is able to field up to 40 squads at any time. We don't know if this is a fraction or 'all' of their forces.
If you take into consideration Elven mage, Dwarf Melee, and Goblin Range (3). Then the heavy vs light units (2). Then the fact there are up to 40 squads. You'd need up to 240 total squads to account for every possible mission scenario.
ie: what if all 4 attacking commanders wanted Heavy Mage? That'd be 40 squads of Heavy Mages right there.
And many military forces would have additional units in some form of training or reserve roles at any given time.
Even if you took the idea of a chunk of ARMS up and leaving, you'd still have a fairly large number of troops going to help the Void Knights.

Unless ofc the 'training' that players had been giving ARMS/MA didn't make that much of a difference and the soldiers of ARMS were pretty pathetic to begin with, and thus they were all brutally wiped out in their first missions, and thus ARMS is now dead and the Void Knights are right back to where they left off.

They could always be helping with logistics, organisation and intelligence gathering and other such non-combat roles which are jst as important as being able to fight in the first place. That does seem to be in their wheel house so to speak and could free up enough resources for the Void Knights themselves for that final push.

Small correction, but the Pests don't actually originate in the Void, they simply use it as a means of travel like we do with the abyss. The actual Pest homeworld is described as Jungle-y. It might well be outside our universe though.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?

FWIW, I've written up a suggestion of how I would personally go about removing MA while keeping the area and NPCs around, so the ARMS would still be around in lore with minimal changes.

But of course we're talking about Jagex, so they'll probably just remove it completely and add an NPC who talks about how terrible Mobilising Armies was and that nobody ever liked it, because fuck the lore :|
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
