My favourite Mahjarrat is also Azzanadra. Mostly because of his hat. However he did call us a friend
Kharshai interests me and I trust him not to kill me as I am a regent in the Fremmy lands but I don't like him that much. Great lore in that miniquest though.
Azzanadra has Dt which came with Ghostly Robes Miniquest and TTAS plus the awesome "feel the might of Zaros" line so yeah he has the best lore and just is awesome.

@Hc4l Gabba Azzanadra did not see that and could not have stopped Sliske. I fail to see how he is spineless though...

Apparently some people think they know Sliske better than a J Mod
Sliske has benefitted Zaros plenty. It may benefit himself at the same time but that does not make him disloyal.

Neither did what I say make him disloyal. Neither has anything that's been said placed Zaros' wellbeing over his own though. The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

I think nearly everybody's favourite Mahjarrat is Azzanadra. Personally, my preference in order would be him, Wahisietel, then Karshai.
I think it all comes down to these people not having done us any harm previously, such as with Zemouregal and Enakhra. Akthanakos and Hazeel haven't either, but those I see as similar; they were both restored (well, I never restored Hazeel but I'm assuming he'll be brought back regardless in future) but other than that they've not really featured as much as the others.
We all know of our good friend Azzanadra. I would also consider Wahisietel as a friend, helping and protecting us in the 18th ritual, and coming to trust us. Karshai is likeable due to him being neutral, so everybody can like him. Also he's very much our Fremennik shield-brother, and who deosn't love the Fremennik?
