So people have charged the Tainted Shard to get the message:
Do you...
...really think...
...you can save...
...Moia?

Now this is what I call a teaser!
To those cursed by war and pest, Come into the light of Armadyl and rest. This is the law of Armadyl.

Well...

It seems this theory is accurate.

But is Xau-Tak the voice at the bottom? Was he playing Bilrach all along? Or did he find a portal on the Warped floors and -for want of a better word- piggyback an opening to Gielinor? I Suspect the former, only... When Moia and Bilrach found Zamorak, wouldn't they have realised it wasn't Zamorak drawing Bilrach in? If Bilrach reached "a floor only he has seen", what did he find? Did he tell Zamorak, whom he is so apparently loyal to?

The Mysterious Chronicles do seem to be compatible, and even support, that it is Xau-Tak at the bottom.
You'll get it when you deserve it.

Well Zamorak's philosophy is that one gains strength through chaos. And what greater chaos is there than
the gaping maw of eternity
and
the grinding darkness
that is
Xau-Tak
? Just look what happened to it's 'followers', most notably Kranon: Zamorak probably would see this as examples of strength through chaos.

And even if Bilrach, Moia and Zamorak do not know the true nature that is Xau-Tak, they could simply be attracted to the chaotic nature of Deamonheim itself, thinking it might empower them. While in all reality Xau-Tak is slowly seeping into their minds and morphing them into its pawns.

Just take a moment to think about that: Zamorak, thinking he is gaining strength in Deamonheim, is actually becoming a puppet of Xau-Tak. A god is being corrupted by an ancient entity who's terrors we cannot even comprehend.

That's not chaos, that's pure unbridled evil.

Zamorak is commonly misconcieved as an evil god, but he is not. He is, in most respects, also a god of balance like Guthix; he's called the god of chaos because while Guthix strove for a peaceful form of balance, Zamorak's balance is achieved through challenge and testing. Such challenge and testing requires obstacles of course, but even he would recognize that unleashing the power of Xau-Tak on the world would bring certain destruction which would kill him and his followers and be simply a waste of life - and destruction is *not* what he seeks.

I dislike using the term evil, for it is subjective. All I am saying is that a lot (pretty much all) of the acts of Xau-Tak are chaotic in nature. While we as the world guardian might see the true destructive nature of this (which many deem evil
but siMplY is inevitaBiLIty
), plenty have fallen to the whispers of this thing: Masuta, Seiryu, Kranon, Rabid Jack, the dreadnaut, even Kerapac was tempted when doing his experiments which led to the black stone dragon.

Why would the same fate not befall Bilrach, Moia and Zamorak? If anything, their ideology of strength through chaos makes them all the more susceptible to this.

I'd also like to make a correction: I believe Xau-Tak to be more like a force of nature and less like an entity. Hence, I do not see him as a prisoner of Deamonheim, but rather a force that seeps into Gielinor through various means. Deamonheim just seems to be one of the easiest ways of entry. It would also not surprise me if it and the shadow realm are related, forming the means through which all of the Elder God's their creations come to their end. Hence explaining the need for the Revisions.

It's been awhile, but I'm giving this a bump in preparation for Shadow Reef revealing what we got right and what we got wrong. After the unexpected success from the Halloween event, I'm looking forward to this.

Welp considering what we now know, it appears at some point the leader of the Kal'Gerion demons in Ulthven Kreath attempted to summon the "Hundred-Handed One", guess where? Daemonheim. And were apparently stopped by "the guardians of Guthix". Now this could refer to the halloween event where the WG and Death (two guardians) stopped another X-T attack or a different even. Here's the kicker. The Ambassador is only allied with the demons because they want to summon the "Hundred Handed One", and we know The Ambassador is trying to summon Xau-Tak.

Therefore, we know the Hundred handed one and Xau-Tak are the same being. Thus, X-T was in Daemonheim, or present there, for a time!

EDIT: We know about the "Hundred-handed one" from the Kalgerion Leader's diary entry in the book "Umbral Diplomacy", which details all of Kranon's alliances and allies, such as how the Temple and Ulthven Kreath came into alliance.
