So the question is, if the gods die, what would you do?
Continue to uphold your god's ideals? Defect to another faction?

Personally I don't think any gods should go anywhere, anytime soon. They've only just arrived, RuneScape won't last another 10 years if the gods are all killed off.
Sure new ones can be introduced, but it wouldn't be the same.

As for what I'd do, I don't know. I'd like to gain the perspective of others.

I suppose if Armadyl died, I'd still uphold his teachings as they're similar to my personal ideals.
No point in defecting to another faction if they don't have the same ideals as I do.

If all the gods died? I don't know, continue with business as usual as it was in the fifth age. Possibly dealing with more alien invasions than before.

Other than that, if only my chosen god died, I'd try and even out the other side a bit. "We call it being a hero"

Do you really need to follow a God then? You can still follow your ideals and beliefs without tying yourself to a deity with a similar mind-set. That being said, Jagex have made it clear they don't really like the idea of characters being an Independent agent without coming off as a power hungry or selfish being, like in the End Game quest if you choose to support noone or pick yourself.

I get there are characters that just want power but come on, some just wanted the thing so others wouldn't abuse it. I'm Godless although I consider myself Independent/Unaligned I "We create ourselves through life. Every victory, every failure and every lesson learned from them... Make us who we are. I get there are characters that just want power but come on, some just wanted the thing so others wouldn't abuse it. Agreed. I was all for using the Stone for my rockery. Mocking the other gods by using it for frivolous purposes. Destroying it being a choice that ran neck and neck with it.

Still if the gods vanished someone would step into the vacuum left behind. The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

I admit I'm not much of a leader, I'm more content being in partnership with another more capable leader and Armadyl fits that bill for me.
It's not like I can protect everyone by myself, even I know I'm no way capable of that.
Allying with Armadyl means I ally with other Armadyleans.

Well every step of the way, I've tried to sabotage and destroy the gods, going so far as to attempt to pit them all against each other, in order to basically start a second God Wars. I don't care for the destruction brought on by the last God War, but if it will serve as a means to an end, I'll support it.

I refuse to support a single god. I'm a tad too soft on mortals, offering mercy where I likely shouldn't, but when it comes to gods, I refuse to pull any punches. Gods are a thing which, simply put, should not exist.

If they want to relinquish their power, and step down to the realm of mortals, then they can remain. Otherwise, they had best say their final farewells.

Mortals should hold their fate in their own hands, and the Gods should not be allowed to have any influence. The Young Gods seem to forget that they were once mortals themselves, and both Seren and Zaros are content to use mortals a device to achieve their goals. Children of Mah showed this all to well.

So in the end, I would overall have no issues with the gods dying, as if they remain, all that will come is needless suffering. Leader of The Enemy ||
