i hardly pvm in the wildy, but doing it a few times lately I also encountered the bot problem and saw on the G.E. how affordable it was to buy those recently new wildy weapons, im surprised that the bots' newest methods weren't predicted or taken into consideration when developing the new wildy content? but also i don't really know enough about the whole situation to comment on it. however I do see a clear problem happening.
I don't think Jagex is lacking though. the game is more incredible than i've ever experienced it before. I do think though that the bot problem is out of control and more complex than they've ever been. it would be very nice, and expected even, for a company as big and profitable as Jagex to have a whole team and blog dedicated to the bot problem and to regularly release bot-busting updates and to greatly increase their transparency and communication in how they are actively combating the problem, rather than just occasionally briefly mentioning it. bots are still a huge issue for us regular players as they've ever been in the past
we need bot-busting news events and blogs as much as we need new content in this game. they are equally as important. all the bots and scammers at the G.E. still take away from the game experience and immersion for me in a big way, and its been happening as frequently and as vigorous now as it had been since i returned back to the game, and it has never ceased for a moment. it's a game we all love and is near and dear to our hearts, so whenever we see it being taken advantage of and abused by bots, its easy for us veteran players to take it personally.
