So we all know the Romeo and Juliet quest feels a bit pointless. My suggestion to make it a bit less pointless is to add Romeo in as an early game crew mate for the sailing skill when it releases and have him unlock when you complete the quest. Romeo doesn't seem especially well suited for the sea faring life and he probably can't really fight, but that's why he would be perfect for the early game when you might not have access to any cool sailors or pirates or whatever. In any case, it would be flavorful and create opportunities for some funny dialogue from a character who I'm sure most players have long forgotten about. But I haven't forgotten about him because I haven't been playing very long! Anyway, think about it!!
(PS: As a bonus suggestion, I think the Karamjan Customs Officer would also make a great recruitable crew mate, but I must admit this is mostly for selfish reasons. Her and I have been in a serious relationship for a while now and I promised I would take her on a vacation soon.)
