About the Chaos Temple demon summoning, would you want it to be a boss monster or a minigame, and would it take place in open wilderness? The idea of any sort of cooperative PvM in the wilderness is an incredibly interesting idea because of the possibility of people betraying each other to PK/loot other players while also risking dying to the boss monster without cooperating.

I also support any of the mentioned additions of NPC spawns, the wildy really does have incredibly large amounts of empty space where nothing really happens in between the hotspots.
