seems simple enough. whenever a bot you reported gets banned, you get some sort of notification, either in game or through the site messages. dont know if its been thought of through osrs or not, but just thought id bring it up
Jagex mods responsible for bot busting often post statistics about the number of bots that get banned in any given period and the numbers are staggering.
I'm purely speculating here but there might be reason to not do what you're suggesting since it might reveal information of how the bot detection system works which is not public information for good reason.
This could work if the accounts that were banned weren't named in the notification that a player you reported was banned. Anonymous banning notification would work. Support.
i just meant in a general notification, as in like what you're doing actually is doing something (if its a legitimate report) not asking for full details just a simple notification.

In time the suspect bot will get banned if Jagex have enough proof. So you can bet it will be gone in time.
I report 100's and to get notification for everyone would just waste my time and Jagex time. Just think 1000 bots reported and banned and it takes 10 seconds a report to send a Thank you thats a long time to spend just sending messages of thanks for 1000 reports. Jagex could just spend that time banning more.
