Taming - At first i agreed that this skill should just be added to Hunter, then i realized all counterpart skills are seperated; i.e. Firemaking from Woodcutting, Smithing from Mining. This is a good counterpart to Hunter.
Shamanism - This skill arguably needs a new name, Enchanting? I'm not quiet sure, but i don't think everyone wants to be considered a shaman. We use prayers but we are not priests and the skill is not called Priestism. Shamanism implies a title more so than skill names such as "Fishing" or "Crafting". You can say "i have 99 Crafting, i'm good at crafting" but "i have 99 Shamanism, i'm good at shamaning?"; its very out of place. Feels like a fancy version of herblore with magic. I'm not opposed to it as a skill concept, i just feel its name needs some rethinking and "totems" are not driving enough to keep us locked in with this name.
Sailing - I wish this "skill" would stop appearing. There has been sailing success across games as many times as i can count on one hand. This skill always becomes a mundane daily or niche distant minigame apart from the world that people feel required to accomplish; there is no way around it. Players would enjoy visiting other islands, like island exploration minigame or as content just as sailing to karamja; but as a skill, sailing makes no sense. If this "skill" is desired to be implemented by devs so much, i'm sure it has a fitting place as a minigame (fishing trawler) or pseudo gnome flying etc. It should be against the foundational rules to suggest an idea so much players consider voting yes just so they stop seeing it suggested repeatedly.
Would love to hear what you all think of the new potential skill(s), your thoughts on my thoughts, or a better name for Shamanism

The game would inevitably stagnate and die without new content. What matters most is the content doesn't take us over the threshold into malicious content like Spin Wheel, xp weekends, dailies, etc.
