I would like for group prestige to remain when new accounts of level 3 join a group where slots are open because previous members left.
Some people I know created a group of 4 when group ironman came out. There were some internal conflicts and two people left the group. Now there are two people left in the group, they are still ranked on the 4-man hiscore and they still have their group prestige.
I want to join with a fresh level 3 account to fill in one of their two slots. At the same time I want the group the retain group prestige and for the group to remain on the 4-man hiscore. I understand that the fresh account will not have individual prestige.
I do not see any reason why group prestige is removed when a new level 3 account joins. The new account does not bring any xp, gp or items. It does not increase the group size from 4 to 5. It merely fills in an empty slot.
The wiki says:
"Group Prestige is a cosmetic indicator that is reserved for groups consisting of original members or those who have not engaged in certain PvM activities with other players outside the group."
The group prestige for me is really about not having engaged in PvM activities with other players outside the group. If you want to know if a player is an original member, then you should look for the star next to its name and not to the group prestige.
