I think just add a ladder in the alter room and put like 10 of them below it in a semi confined space then if you need to recharge your prayer you can just climb the ladder hit the alter then straight back down and the bank is not a problem for me but it still would not be far with this solution just I am tired of going for a slayer task and having to fight 5 people just to get it done
2. If the other accounts there truly are bots/gold farmers, then adding a slayer-only area doesn't solve the bigger problem. If there really is a bot prevalence there, then they should be banned.
If instead they are just normal players AFKing for combat stats, then I can see a slayer-only area being good solution for players who only kill them for slayer, but then there's still the first issue.
I’m not trying to come of as defeated but I think we’re way passed trying to fix the bot problem. I look around the game and see bots taking on content that was previously thought impossible, like demonic gorillas, and it has lead to overcrowding everywhere.
Jagex introduced slayer only spots like at wyverns because of overcrowding, and that was before bots were largely at fault. It has always been a plaster fix to a gashing wound of a problem, like how the new Wilderness bosses are locked behind the Wilderness Achievement Diary.
But don’t lose hope, there is a way to try and fix this! There’s no need for fancy AI when all you need to do is simply gamify the problem in a way that incentivise players into reporting bots; introduce a new reward store that sells new cosmetics and consumables that can be purchased with tokens gained after a bot you’ve reported has been investigated and banned. Make them expensive so that you have to really go hunting for bots to report, like it's a game of Shooting Stars. Make them useful so that players won’t want to play without them, like a temporary luck potion, or maybe even a bond! Imagine buying bonds with tokens gained via banning bots!
This would be a highly unorthodox approach to addressing the problem and there’s no guarantee it’ll work, but I think the problem has gotten so far out of hand that only an unorthodox solution will do.
I hope a Jagex moderator reads this and seriously considers it.
