how is it underwhelming?

Each piece gives a 20% chance to speed up Smithing actions performed at an anvil by 1 tick, up to a 100% chance with the full set. Each piece also gives a 20% chance to give increased progress on preforms in the Giants' Foundry, with the whole outfit giving a 100% chance. The bonus is approximately 5% increased progress per action for the trip hammer, and 10% for the grindstone and polishing wheel

this is not underwhelming

It should mention that in the store description then it only mentions on anvils in the shop. Also I just bought the smith gloves so I have to sacrifice my ice gloves for a bucket which takes up 1 inventory space which is inconvenient. The anvil effect of the outfit could be alot better. I need my blue charms back.

use your ice gloves on the smith gloves.
