Since they are updating combat achievements & there are already cosmetic/useful upgrades to the avernic defender with Ghommal’s Hilt 5/6.
I would love to see them make use of the lower tier Hilts, allowing players to combine them with a dragon defender to spice up the look of a boring dragon defender. Also allowing players to make use of the useless hilt that will just sit in your inventory and take up space. I’m Daddy

I Would like to see the hard to elite tier hilts being able to combine with the dragon defender to be sure, but then they would also have to be able to combine with the avernic so as that obtaining that isn't a downgrade utility-wise until you complete master tier.

It would be a nice cosmetic for sure. The dragon defender ornament kit is pretty nice though. If it was only cosmetic I would definitely agree.
