Hi Jagex...I saw in a news post (from 18th October, 2023) that you were considering
re-running the 2013 Christmas Event in 2023.
I'm hoping if you do though...that you do something such as visually change the
look of the characters 'Jack, Jill, and Jeff' - or perhaps change their clothes etc.
This is due to players such as myself that did the event back in 2013 have those
three npc characters dancing around near the dock where you saved them...and
it's a trophy to accounts that are that old to have these characters visible now.
It has even been discussed and pointed out in videos on rare things in OSRS before.
I've been playing OSRS on and off since the first day of release...and I'm really
proud of having those three characters visible on my account - that shows
I'm one of the early players of OSRS.
For example - I'd like if the look of the characters was changed this time
around...and then they have a 'morph' right-click option (for players who already
did this event back in 2013 and also do it again in 2023 only) to change back in
forth between the original design of the characters and the redesigned
characters.
Or perhaps for those who did the event on OSRS in 2013 - you could have a
wooden sign in the ground or some kind of marker at the spot where these
three npc children are to signify you also saved them back in 2013 - if this
event gets repeated.
Please consider this for players such as me...even if it seems only trivial.
