Jagex claimed to be working on HD around the time this plugin released, though. Not sure how much longer they'll be working on it. They seem to have gone dark about it shortly after allowing the RuneLite HD plugin.

Jagex has approved the client HDOS (similar to RuneLite but with less plugins). It's actually really great and the devs are constantly working on improvements!

You can see Jagexs' official post about third party clients here: Third Party Clients Update

Unfortunately, HDOS has not yet been added to Jagex's official launcher, however, I think it's a matter of time than anything else.
