Dragonfire Tinderbox-->Examine--> A blackened tinderbox with a symbol resembling a dragon's head on top.

By using your KBD head with a normal tinderbox, the tinderbox will change into a black color, and has the following use:

Dragonfire tinderbox can only be used on one log at a time. Upon lighting any log, the log turns into a dragon head breathing fire. This log will last for 25 minutes but can only be used on one log at a time. Perfect for while at Karamja or barbarian fishing.

Requirements to make: 80 slayer, 75 firemaking. Also, using Dragonfire Shield (uncharged) on a log lit with dragonfire tinderbox can absorb the fire and completely charge the shield.

this is an interesting idea. seems kind of weird to just have a random dragon head sticking out of the ground though. and the ability to charge a dragonfire shield seems like an unnecessary addition.

the only part of this i like is the idea of being able to make a single long lasting fire with the addition of some extra steps to the proccess

It's part of a lore, the KBD head being combined with the tinderbox is actually infusing the dragon's spirit with it. So when you go to light a log during firemaking, the shape of the log turns into the shape of a wooden dragon head, ( similar in appearance to seeing a visage on the ground, having the face and mouth pointed upward), that way the fire of the lit log appears as if a dragon head is blowing fire out of its mouth, the whole theme being dragon slayer and how the dragon's sprit still lives.

Although there are many better shields out there now, the DFS was once the best in slot shield. In order to charge the DFS, you typically have to go fight dragons and have thier breathe charge the shield, the easiest method being just going to NMZ and having elvarg charge it. But since the dragon's spirit and flame is infused with the log, it is a substitute for charging the DFS, without having to go out of the way.
