Hi there,

I would like to dedicate this thread as an appreciation to the entire OSRS team for keeping the lore (& the quests) as comprehensive yet mysterious as it used to be back in the day.

In my opinion it is so much better to go through and enjoy OSRS lore than what has been done to RS3 so far.
One big focus point is that (almost?) everything is kept within 'mortal' bounds, without any fancy-schmancy godhood tiers of RS3 or any "elder" god overlooming threat spam, not to even speak about all the cosmic adventures... In my opinion the way OSRS does its own lore is much more interesting overall, even without the 'modern tech'.

Thank you once again for keeping OSRS and its lore so consistent and grounded. As somebody who initially started RS in 2007 it is a really welcome sight.
RuneScape player since 2007.

I too was thinking about how good the new lore is based on quests and content that came after the 2007 backup was released.

I'm actually someone who engages in the quest as if i'm there in real life and this game truly is the gift that keeps on giving in that regard.
