with the release of desert treasure 2 you had the perfect opportunity to create 4 bosses that needed a sacrifice in order to be fought. Could have created a new slayer master that once completing the task would let you be able to fight one of the bosses of your choosing. Maybe that task needed to use 1 of the 4 ancient magics to have 1 chance of fighting the boss of that particular spell category.

If the task was completed correctly. The final kill of the task would drop a teleport scroll that you could attach to the ring and would give you a chance to fight that boss. The teleport scrolls could be stackable on the ring. Say you did 4 smoke barrage tasks you'd have 4 chances at killing the smoke boss.
