Why has there not been a major update in the reporting system for bots? it seems peer 2 peer could be way more effective than jagex anti cheat prevention.

IE- same 10-20 bots have been running 48 hours straight for weeks and no ban. I have been reporting them daily with friends for weeks... NO BAN

Feels pointless watching 20 bots running back and forth every world with jagex doing nothing legit at every skilling spot.

1000s of bots running around and cheat prevention does nothing.

There is just so many. You are doing the right thing although this thread may be better located in the rants section.
Have faith in the system and eventually there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Bots are throwaway accounts therefore they aren't deterred by the threat of banning. It's unfortunately part of the game. You and your friends keep at it. You are still making a difference and if we act together as a community we can make a positive change.

Bots are never instantly banned after a report! It takes time to review ''every report'' if you did report it multiple times during different days! Bots get banned in bulks and even better together with rwters they gets chain banned!

It takes a lot of time given the volume of reports that Jagex has to deal with. It's worth noting that Jagex bans enormous numbers of bots all the time and I highly recommend looking up the statistics that some Jagex mods post regarding bans.
