Bonfires are less than half the xp compared to doing a classic fire line. Why? There's no reason to do them xp wise compared to a line.. The upgrade should be easy to understand and make. straight lines are a well known manipulation tactic to get better than average xp/hr. Bonfires are not only slower but far more expensive, and at it's current status it costs far more time and money to get to 99.
To keep it short. Bonfires should be updated to make xp rates on logs burned the same as doing a line. It's slower xp/hr wise and those who do it "proficiently" have no legitimate reason to complain when witntertodt is a thing.
This isn't a turning into an rs3 thing or a lazy thing . I've played runescape for awhile and there are obvious areas where improvement would benefit the game and community as a whole. This is just one of the countless areas that hasn't stood the test of time and this update was a recent one. I'm not saying osrs should make everything easy, just that obvious quality of life updates shouldn't be skirted around to pander to a loud minority of players that are well past the end game on their mains.
