clue scrolls dropped while on slayer task (ST) would be dropped as a stackable version of clue scrolls, all variants stacking to different amounts; beginner: 250, easy:100, medium:60, hard:20, expert:10, master:4.
How many times have you gotten to a ST location and gotten a clue scroll drop right away? Should you feel compelled to do it, you will change out all your gear to do the clue and change it all back to go back to your ST. A few kills later, another monster drops you a clue scroll.
Lucky, right?
Then why does it feel bad?
Having stackable clues would remove this feeling, as you wouldnt be limited to dropping and "juggling" another clue, should you not want to complete the first right away while still allowing for a second one to drop.
This would also be an opportunity to spruce up some lower level monsters and slayer masters, as clue hunting players would feel incentivized to go for stackable clue scrolls. Watching Mr No Sleep's videos made me aware of so many great monsters in OSRS. The monsters themselves look great, are in a cool environment, yet their drops arent worth going after, and they arent part of slayer (to my small knowledge). examples being necromancers on Kourend and rock lobsters in waterbirth dungeon.
This topic came up in SmallExpLamp cc and I thought it was a great idea so I wanted to share it here.
i look forward to discussion on this thread!
