You never fail to fail your players.
I'm only now hearing about "Fresh Start" worlds with only 19 days left.
The reason I stopped playing osrs is because a competitive game is a worthless game when the competition begins in private.
I wasted a good character name on this garbage ass game just for the purpose of my account to be irrelevant in 19 days.
I've been playing runescape since 2002. This game has done nothing to honor me as a veteran player.
And then I hear about this "Fresh Start" project but not because you advertised it.
I had to start a new character to find out about it.
So thanks for letting me down again nothing new you've been doing it since 2002.
Integating Fresh Start world back into the main game is a retard's ploy.
Either fucking make a Fresh Start server or stop wasting people's time and energy.
On that note, I want my new character 100% deleted so that the time going into creating an intelligent character name wasn't wasted on your socialist European asses
Fresh start worlds were a useless scam before it even launched, and then everyone will be dumped into the main game anyway. You’re the one who wants to take on a fool’s mission. Just play the main game and get what you were gonna get in 6 months time anyway.
To be fair I liked the fresh start world idea. I was sceptical at first but I watched a few videos on it and the concept of a new economy was pretty cool to see. I understand why people didn't like it as it was basically no effort to recreate, it was a copy and paste game mode. However the players seemed to really like it for the most part.

This is an important point imo. It was a easy and painless process for Jagex and while I'm not sure how successful it was (depends on how you measure success of course) I'm sure it provided some data based on who played it, how they played and whether it can be used to inform future choices to attract new players.
As to the OP, I'm a little confused by what you're upset by. There's only a few days left but it was visibly advertised when it was launched last year.
The accounts are then ported into the main game because it was never intended to be a long term thing. It was to give newer players a fresh economy where early game gear has some value to start off in and then later transfer their characters into the main game.

1) FSW accounts merge to main game after the duration. This was well stated when it was about to release. Therefore, your account will not be irrelevant.
2) Not sure what you mean about having to create a new account to "find out about it". The concept was extremely simple when they released info about it.
3) This thread belongs in Rant section.
